TEB Explained Part 3
By: Chavy Knopfler
Hello! How are you feeling today—right now?
Take a moment to gently tune in to your heart space and listen to its quiet whispers. There’s likely so much waiting to be heard, seen, and acknowledged.
After just a minute or two of focusing on your feelings, what do you notice? Maybe relief, sadness, a sense of calm or joy.
It only takes a few minutes, yet it can shift your entire day to a more energized, uplifted space. So why do most of us so often avoid going there?
Because our bodies don’t always feel safe enough. Our ability to connect inward depends on how regulated our nervous system is. The more internal safety we feel, the more naturally we can explore our inner world. The less regulated we are, the more we avoid anything that might trigger old, unsafe memories.
Transforming Touch brings regulation to the nervous system through consistent, safe experiences. As your body begins to feel safer, you’ll naturally feel more comfortable turning inward and connecting to parts of yourself that may have long gone unseen.
Your feelings are like gentle “Waze maps” from Hashem, guiding you toward where your growth is meant to unfold.
Perhaps the first feeling you will meet is sadness or loneliness. With enough regulation, these feelings will no longer feel threatening. Instead, you’ll be able to sit with them, feel them, and show yourself compassion in a deep and meaningful way. You truly deserve to experience this kindness from yourself.
And in that space, something will shift—you will begin to feel like you’re truly living, not just surviving.
Good luck.

We’re closing in on the finish line. Kids are home (and hungry) and the to-do list is growing quicker than bamboo. At this point, it’s not about adding anything extra to your schedule. No, not even if it takes only three and half minutes, guaranteed. And still, that’s not a reason for you to abandon yourself.
Every time you take a sip of water or sit down for twenty seconds to catch your breath, tell yourself how hard you’ve worked. When you pivot from one task to the other, roll your shoulder blades and cheer yourself on. When your brain scurries to all the tasks that still need to happen, remind it of the countless things you’ve crossed off your list over the past few days.
And at the end of this endless day, when your eyes close even before your pillow is in sight, allow yourself to feel the accomplishment that comes along with all the tasks you’ve completed. Even if your neighbor already finished cooking and your sister somehow manages better than you with no cleaning help. Because when it comes to Erev Pesach, the only race that matters is you against you. And, may the Best Woman in your home win! Meet you at the finish line. You’ll recognize me by the black bag under my eyes and the heavily bleached skirt. Oh… you too?
