TEB Explained Part 6
By: Chavy Knopfler
We are all living with a small, alive inner child within us. This young, vibrant child within us needs lots of attention. She craves to be seen, heard, and loved—and she thrives on your presence and security.
Building a strong relationship with your inner child takes time and consistency. But once that connection is there, you can turn to her for clarity, insight, and advice. She’ll let you know when something feels hurtful, and when something brings joy. She is also the playful, lighthearted part of you that may have been pushed aside in the name of “growing up.”
So why are we talking about this in a series about Transforming Touch?
Because Transforming Touch has a powerful ability to strengthen this most important relationship—the one between your mature adult self and your innocent inner child.
When there is open communication and trust between the two, you begin to feel whole, grounded, and at peace. When something feels off, your steady adult self can question your inner child about it. And in that space, you experience the relief of being truly heard and held—by yourself.
Who could offer you that kind of safety better than yourself?
You deserve to feel strong enough and worthy enough to hold all parts of yourself with real acceptance. Because your deepest wisdom and truest sense of happiness are already within you, waiting to be developed and accessed, to make you a more wholesome person.
And from that place, your connection with Hashem can deepen in a way that feels more natural, grounded, humble, honest, real, and pure.
In the end, we often discover that what we were searching for was within us all along.

Chapter 3 | Grief
By: Zeldy Eisenberger
I was completely unprepared for the intensity of the grief that hit me once my body began actively miscarrying. It was a kind of pain that reached deep—I didn’t even know a place like that existed within me.
It wasn’t only sadness. It was a hollow, aching sorrow for something I never even had the chance to fully know—grieving a future, a possibility, a life that had already begun to take shape in my heart. That kind of loss hits deeply, an intensity I never truly understood until I lived it.
And yet, there was this quiet message I began to feel from the people around me… Because it was “early,” because it is so “common,” it was somehow less—something I should be able to move on from quickly.
But for me, it wasn’t small. It wasn’t “nothing.” It was everything. The days passed slowly, and my mind wouldn’t give me a moment of quiet—the questions kept looping, relentless and endless…
What caused this? Why me? Did I do something wrong? And then there was the question I was almost too afraid to even think—so I kept pushing it down every time it surfaced: Could this happen again?
I was so looking forward to my follow-up appointment with my OB. I was desperate for answers—hoping I’d finally walk out with clarity, reassurance, something to quiet the constant noise in my mind and make this feel a little more manageable.
At the appointment, my doctor spoke confidently, even a bit dismissively. He told me miscarriage is common—it happens in about 1 out of 4 pregnancies. He explained that in many cases, it’s the body’s way of recognizing that something wasn’t developing as it should and letting go of an unhealthy pregnancy.
For a brief moment, I felt a small sense of relief. Maybe this wasn’t my fault. Maybe my body hadn’t failed me. But if I’m being honest, that feeling didn’t last.
The moment I left his office, the reassurance started to fade. The statistics didn’t quiet the fear. The explanation didn’t take away the loss. His confidence didn’t become mine.
He told me I would be fine, that I could try again—but I wasn’t ready to hold onto that certainty. Because beneath everything else… I was still scared. Scared of going through it again, of hoping again, and scared of how deep this loss had already reached; while holding the quiet fear of what if it doesn’t all turn out okay in the end?

Protein Egg Bites
Fluffy, nourishing, and perfect for busy mornings, those soft, protein-packed egg bites are the ultimate make-ahead breakfast. Light yet satisfying, they’re ideal for a quick grab-and-go option while still feeling wholesome and homemade.
Recipe, styling and photography by Esty Weinberger
Ingredients
3 eggs
4 oz cottage cheese
2 Tbsp milk
salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup finely chopped vegetables (such as mushrooms, grape tomatoes, spinach, and baby peppers)
butter or neutral oil, for greasing
parmesan cheese, optional for topping

Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, cottage cheese, and milk until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Lightly grease a mini muffin tin with butter or oil. Pour the egg mixture into each cavity, filling almost to the top. Sprinkle the finely chopped vegetables evenly over each one.
- Place the muffin tin into a larger tray and carefully add hot water to create a gentle water bath. This helps the egg bites cook evenly and stay soft.
- Bake for 14 minutes, or until just set with a slight softness in the center.
- Enjoy warm, optionally finished with a light sprinkle of Parmesan cheese for extra flavor.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave for a quick, nourishing breakfast or snack anytime.
